General Questions

Coaching vs. strengths-focused coaching

“Coaching is for people who are failing.”
→ Truth: Coaching is for leaders who care about staying sharp, evolving, and leading at a higher level. Most of my clients are already successful. They are performing, carrying responsibility, and feeling the weight of it. Strengths based coaching helps high performers stop leaking energy and start leading from their natural edge again.

“I should be able to figure this out myself.”
→ Truth: That belief is exactly what keeps smart, capable leaders spinning. Every elite performer, from athletes to CEOs, has a coach. Strengths based coaching accelerates clarity by showing you how you are wired to think, decide, influence, and perform. You stop guessing and start working with yourself instead of against yourself.

“It’s just talking, I need real strategies.”
→ Truth: Conversation without direction goes nowhere. Strengths based coaching combines insight with action. We identify what is actually getting in your way, reconnect you to how you naturally create results, and build strategies that fit you. This is where clarity turns into confident, aligned action.

“Coaching is too soft or woo-woo.”
→ Truth: Good coaching is both intuitive and practical. We work with mindset, energy, and self awareness because they directly affect performance, decision making, and leadership presence. Strengths based coaching is grounded, focused, and results driven. It is about real world leadership, not theory.

“If I’m the leader, I shouldn’t need help.”
→ Truth: The strongest leaders invest in themselves first. When you deepen your self awareness and lead from your strengths, you model growth, confidence, and trust for your team. That is not weakness. That is leadership maturity.

What are the benefits of coaching?

Coaching helps you get back into your Power Zone. You gain clarity around what is actually driving results, what is draining you, and where your natural leadership edge lives. Strengths based coaching allows you to lead with more confidence, focus, and trust while modeling growth for your team. Investing in yourself is not a setback. It is how strong leaders stay sharp.

What can you expect from the sessions?

We start with a deep dive into your strengths and how you naturally think, decide, and lead, while also looking at what is happening in your life and business and where gaps or friction exist. This gives us a clear, honest picture of what is working and what needs attention.

I function as your right hand strategist, a trusted, confidential partner you can think out loud with and work through real leadership challenges. Sessions often cover everything from hiring and firing to team dynamics, decision making, growth strategy, and leadership presence.

I bring decades of experience building and scaling businesses alongside founders and leadership teams, combined with a strengths based lens that keeps the work practical, focused, and aligned with who you are. You will leave sessions with clarity, confidence, and a clear next step forward.

Coaching, consulting, or therapy? What's the difference?

Coaching focuses on self awareness, clarity, and forward movement. It is future oriented and strengths based. Through thoughtful questions, reflection, and dialogue, coaching helps you uncover insights, see new possibilities, and take aligned action toward your goals.

Consulting is more directive. A consultant brings expertise, pattern recognition, and recommendations based on experience. The focus is on problem solving, strategy, and practical solutions informed by what has worked in similar situations.

Therapy focuses on healing and mental well being. It often explores past experiences, emotional patterns, and psychological challenges to support healing and emotional health.

My approach blends coaching, consulting, and trusted advisory.

We lead with strengths based coaching to build clarity and confidence, layer in consulting when strategy or decisions are needed, and work as a confidential thought partner as you navigate real leadership challenges. The focus stays practical, grounded, and future focused, helping you lead with intention and momentum.

What's your investment?

Investing in coaching is a thoughtful decision, and I want it to feel clear and aligned. There is no one size fits all pricing because the work is customized based on your goals, scope, and level of support.

During our initial conversation, we’ll discuss what you need, session cadence, and the type of partnership that will serve you best. From there, I’ll recommend options and packages that make sense for where you are now.

Coaching is an investment in clarity, confidence, and leadership effectiveness. When you lead from your strengths, the return shows up across your business, decisions, and life. It is an ROI that compounds over time.

How long are the coaching sessions?

Most clients prefer a 60-minute session two to three times a month, which gives them ample time to apply the insights gained during our sessions to their daily lives.

The pace and length of our coaching journey are entirely up to you, and we can discuss your preferences and pricing during our initial consultation.

Review the content on this page, and if it speaks to you, book a call to explore how we can work together to help you achieve your goals.

Do you record the sessions?

Yes. Sessions conducted via Zoom can be recorded upon request, either audio only or audio and video.

If you prefer not to record, that is completely fine. Recording is always your choice.

Your comfort, confidentiality, and sense of safety are the priority.

What results can you expect?

The results depend on the program you choose. A Strengths Power Session alone can create powerful insight and self awareness you may not have considered before.

Many clients say the real magic happens between sessions, as you reflect, notice patterns, and start seeing yourself and your leadership differently.

Change often begins with one conversation where you truly understand how unique you are.

Longer journeys, three months or more, take this deeper and shift how you see your current reality, how you lead, and how you make decisions.

It is a meaningful, energizing process and yes, it is fun.

Assessments

I offer a curated set of assessments to help you gain insight into your natural talents, strengths, and patterns. Coaching does not depend on assessments, and not all tools are used with every client. Everything is selected based on your goals, challenges, and what will be most useful for you.

When used, assessments often speed up clarity and deepen understanding by giving us a shared language to work from.

Some of the tools I use include:

  • CliftonStrengths® (Gallup®): Identifies your natural talents and how to turn them into real strengths so you can lead and perform in a way that fits you.

  • BP10™ (Builder Profile 10): Highlights entrepreneurial and builder talents that drive innovation, growth, and business creation.

  • Sacred Money Archetypes®: Reveals how your archetypes influence money, value creation, and decision making. Insightful and surprisingly fun.

  • Branding with Archetypes®: Helps clarify your business brand foundation so your messaging, presence, and positioning feel aligned and authentic.

  • How to Fascinate®: Shows how others experience you, offering powerful insight for personal and leadership brand development.

  • The 5 Love Languages: Useful for understanding connection and communication in both personal relationships and team environments.

Each assessment offers a different lens.

We only use what serves your journey, helping uncover what is already strong, bring awareness to blind spots, and support more confident, aligned leadership.

What do I expect from clients?

You will get the most out of our work together by showing up open, engaged, and willing to reflect between sessions. Growth happens both in our conversations and in the space between them.

Between sessions, you may receive light home play such as reflection prompts, simple exercises, or awareness practices. These are customized, practical, and designed to create insight and clarity, not busywork.

During our sessions, we review what you are noticing, work through challenges, and adjust direction as needed. Come ready to engage, be honest, and try new perspectives. The more present and committed you are, the more meaningful the shifts tend to be.
