You Don’t Need It All

We tend to reward leaders who look certain.

Clear direction. Strong opinions. Quick answers.

But some of the most capable leaders I know are the ones quietly navigating uncertainty while still showing up with integrity.

The idea that you should have it all figured out by a certain point in your career is one of the most persistent myths out there. And it creates a surprising amount of pressure.

Growth doesn’t happen in straight lines

Careers evolve. Priorities shift. What once felt exciting may no longer fit. That doesn’t mean you made the wrong choice. It means you’re paying attention.

I’ve watched leaders stay in roles that drain them simply because leaving would look like failure. Others keep pushing strategies that no longer feel right because changing course feels risky.

Clarity isn’t something you wait for. It’s something you create through reflection and honest assessment.

Give yourself permission to evolve

The leaders who thrive long term allow themselves to question what still fits. They update their definition of success. They give themselves permission to evolve without needing a dramatic reason.

If you’re in a season where something needs to change but you can’t quite name it yet, you’re not behind.

You’re in the middle of growth.

Your next step is waiting at the top of this page.
