Coaching Beyond the Report

by Pia Jansson | May 15, 2023 | Leadership

Assessments can be eye-opening.

Seeing your talents reflected back to you feels good.

But insight alone doesn’t create change.

It’s not about the report

Reading about your strengths is one thing.

Actually using them in your day-to-day life is something else entirely.

That’s where most people get stuck.

The bigger picture

It’s easy to get caught in the cycle.

Deadlines. Targets. Responsibilities.

You keep going, doing what’s expected, and before you know it, it becomes your normal.

But when something feels off, there’s usually a reason.

That frustration, that irritation, that sense of being off track.

It’s often a sign your strengths aren’t being fully used.

When your talents are used intentionally, performance changes.

What actually creates change

Real shifts happen when you apply what you’ve learned.

When you start making decisions differently.

When you lead, communicate, and prioritize in a way that aligns with who you are.

That’s not something most people do alone.

Why coaching matters

A coach helps you see what you can’t see on your own.

They connect the dots between your strengths, your patterns, and your results.

And they help you move from awareness into action.

Faster. With more clarity. And with less second-guessing.

Your next step

If you’ve taken an assessment but haven’t fully applied it yet, that’s your opportunity.

Start small. Pick one strength and use it intentionally this week.

Notice what shifts.

That’s where momentum begins.
