I got laid off and could not land another job.
After years of helping build startups for others, I suddenly found myself in a position I had not planned for. Unemployed. Facing rejection after rejection.
Most of the time, I did not even make it through the ATS.
It was disheartening. And at the same time, I knew I had the experience and perspective to take a different route.
A different decision
So I decided to start my own business.
With over 35 years in startups and early stage companies, being someone C suite leaders trusted for clarity and strategy, I knew I could apply that same energy to building something of my own.
That did not mean it was easy.
Starting from scratch
Starting over meant facing doubt.
Learning new skills. Investing in support. Taking courses. Figuring things out as I went.
And staying resilient when things did not go as planned.
What I realized
I am still on the journey.
But this path allows me to do what I truly love. Helping leaders step into their power zone and build teams and businesses that feel as good as they perform.
That alignment changes everything.
The biggest shift
What started as something unexpected became an opportunity.
To build something that reflects who I am. What I value. And the impact I want to create.
I am more energized now than I have been in a long time.
